47 STUDENTS GETS UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

Financial obstacles should never be an obstacle to aspiration for education and personal development for aspirational individuals from underprivileged backgrounds. For the past several years, our organization has provided scholarships intended especially to empower students from the two communities close to our operational area (Mao Wharf and Seaside). Aware of the power of education as a catalyst for change, we have been consistent in our support for the improvement of community youth. The goal of these scholarships is to remove financial obstacles so that people who might not otherwise be able to attend college can do so.

Through a scholarship committee, students are vetted with a very high consideration to close the gender disparity. Almost half of the beneficiaries are women.
