Since we started operation in 2011, we supported vulnerable communities surrounding our operational areas in varieties of situations. We have spent millions of Leones on provisions of social amenities, giving out educational materials for school-going kids, issuance of university and TECVOC scholarships etc. We have seen the need to also invest in the livelihoods of the community by supporting groups through community stakeholders. Today, we have handed over a new water filtration and purification machine, one tricycle and Milla tanks to the Moa Wharf community. This was to drive entrepreneurship and help community people to be self-reliant. This will create employment for a few young people in the community and reduce some of the economic burdens of the community stakeholders to run their affairs.
