The International Women’s day is the celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political accomplishments of women worldwide. It’s a day to celebrate the strides made in the direction of gender equality as well as the work that remains to be done.

The United Nations choose “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality” as the theme for International Women’s Day this year. This theme draws attention to the gender gaps in STEM education and jobs as well as the online abuse that many women experience.
